Sept. 28- Jeff Bezos had a press conference to release the new Kindle Fire Tablet
The rumors have finally been confirmed. Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos held a press conference in New York Wednesday to introduce their first tablet, Kindle Fire. A 7 inch light weight tablet that is completely redesigned, polished, and ready for battle amongst the biggest tablet providers on the market. Amazon has pulled all the stops with the Kindle Fire, and is expected to have a major rival competition with the Apple iPad. A Completely different interface separates the Kindle Fire from the iPad and has many features that the iPad does not have.
The Kindle Fire will be run on the Android Platform with the Amazon Market Place where Amazon Prime members will have access to over 11,000 movies and live streaming TV shows with some of the largest cable networks like Fox. The Kindle Fire will have a dual core processor for lightning fast mobile web browsing on a 3G network. Amazon has manged to achieve ultra fast web browsing due in part to their new web browser, Amazon Silk. Not only will you be able to read thousands of books, magazines, and newspapers, but you will get free storage on the cloud that will give you endless downloading capabilities.
The rumors and speculation that have been evolving about Amazon’s first Tablet has definitely come to life, and in an a way that no one else expected. Some of the features, designs, and operating systems that Amazon has developed on the Kindle Fire has brought Apple iPad production to a slow down. With a recent 25% decrease in iPad production, Apple is definitely seeing the Kindle Fire as a major threat to take market share for the tablet market.
